Yes. Every Kiln candle is made in Scotland – from fragrance to finished product. Keeping production close to home allows us to celebrate Scottish craft while maintaining the quality and consistency we believe every product deserves.

Scotland's whisky regions are known for producing spirits with their own distinctive characteristics. Rather than recreating individual whiskies, each Kiln fragrance interprets the landscapes, ingredients and tasting notes associated with these regions.

Highland draws on warm malted barley, heather and oakmoss.

Islands explores peat smoke, lichen and charred oak.

Lowlands offers a lighter expression with young oak, bergamot and meadow earth.

Each fragrance is an interpretation of place, rather than a single whisky.

Our candles are poured using a premium soy-based wax blend, chosen for its clean burn, excellent fragrance performance and long-lasting scent throw. Each candle is paired with carefully developed fragrances and presented in an amber glass vessel.

Our 240g candles have an average burn time of 45–50 hours when cared for correctly. For the best performance, allow the wax to melt evenly across the surface during the first burn and keep the wick trimmed to around 5mm before each use.
